Plans for
the annual Steam Festival, to
be held at Maldegem, Belgium, on Friday
1fth, Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3th of
May 2009, are well advanced.

|
The main attraction this
year will be the return to
steam of ex ICI Tunstead Avonside 0-4-0st “FRED”.
This loco has been out of service since 2002 in which time a
major overhaul has been carried out, mainly “in house”, and also
including the fitting of a new welded steel boiler

We also offer the fully restored

1st and 2nd class). It's the only M1BC carriage in original painting

Like every
year,
a goods train will cross the picturesque lift bridge in Balgerhoeke
This is an extra train we use to put into action on behalf

On the narrow gauge line, trains
will be operated by familiar Kerr-Stuart

the record for the number of channel crossings by a steam locomotive,
together with “PADDY”, an 0-4-0
vertical boilered loco from Amerton in the UK
<--- Peter Pan
On this line, there will also be an intensive service in
operation.
